Color Availability By Style
Useful definitions for understanding paint types:
- A clear coat is just that. It is a protective clear coat of paint over the color which is underneath. If a paint color doesn't say Pearl or Metallic, it is Clear.
- A pearl coat is a tinted clear coat. It adds color depth so that on a curved surface the tint of the reflection changes.
- Metallic paint has the shimmer of fine metal flakes in the underlying paint for a less solid, much richer-looking color with a sparkly effect.
